Both are incorrect. The yolk of an egg is not white. —————- This question was part of a qualifying exam (for a job). My fellow applicant (a man in his mid-20’s) answered “The yolk of an egg is white”. Well he does have a point, the sentence may be gramatically correct, but he should have considered the message conveyed too. Awoooo.
